Oxfordshire Counselling                                          Alison Matheson

When life becomes difficult, it can sometimes be easier to talk to someone who is not personally involved. It can help to have someone to talk to who isn’t a friend or relative. I provide a welcoming, supportive, confidential and non-judgmental space for you to explore and work through issues that are affecting you.

You may wish to look at feelings around a specific or repeated problem (e.g. relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, anxiety, depression, stress or family issues) or you may have a general feeling that you could be getting more out of life and feel more fulfilled. I work with you to do this. At the heart of my work is the relationship that develops between my clients and I.

I passionately believe that people can grow and change, no matter how difficult their situation may seem and that counselling can offer you the chance to change how you feel, to begin to live differently and to make positive choices about your future.
